At Michael P. Lynch Wealth Management and Michael P. Lynch, CPA, Inc. the health and safety of our staff and our clients are our top priority. With the COVID-19 virus having an increasing impact in our community, we want to provide you the following information.

Many finance and accounting services are considered to be essential services under various shelter-in-place orders. We believe our services fall into these categories. Accordingly, we believe that our offices may remain open at this time.

Although our offices are open, we are, nevertheless, attempting to limit in-person contact within our office. In addition to protecting ourselves and our families, we also want to protect you and yours. We would prefer to err on the side of caution. In our office, we are following suggested routines including increasing the frequency in which we wash our hands, using hand sanitizer, and wiping down work surfaces with disinfectant.

We respectfully make the following requests of you, our clients and friends.

Please consider:

• Phoning or using meeting software (such as Zoom) rather than visiting.

• Delivering your documents without an in-person visit:

  • Scan your documents and email them to us.

  • Scan your documents and submit them using our firm’s internet portal.

  • Fax your documents.

  • Mail your documents

• Allowing us to deliver your papers to you using these same methods.

 

(Some visitors have told us that they are uncomfortable coming into the office but that they felt they need to personally deliver their paperwork. We understand this, and we will not be offended if you desire to place your paperwork on the floor, either just inside or just outside our door, without visiting further. If you leave paperwork outside the door, please knock and make eye contact with us so we know to retrieve it.)

If you do visit our office, please:

• Before entering, look through the window to see if someone else is already visiting. If someone is, remain outside in the foyer to help maintain social distancing until the other person leaves. There is a bench if you would like to sit.

• Use the hand sanitizer by the front door upon entry.

• Please avoid physical contact and maintain at least 3 to 6 feet of distance between us.

 

You may be uncomfortable maintaining this "social distancing." We are uncomfortable with it, too, because, frankly, we feel friendly towards our clients. Nevertheless, for now, we need to maintain this protocol.
