As the son of a career Navy officer, I spent my first 15 years moving from one place to another. I have lived the last five decades in northern California with the exception of attending college in San Diego.

At USD, I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting. Thereafter, I worked for CPA firms on the San Francisco Peninsula and in Stockton, California. My work evolved from auditor to tax preparer, to advisor.

I have offered services through Michael P Lynch Wealth Management, LLC since 2009. I am a Certified Public Accountant/Personal Financial Specialist and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional.​
